UNIVERSAL SPIRIT

The mission & Concept

The main mission was to create an appealing scenography with sketches and computerized drawings for an event show presenting the 500th anniversary of DaVinci’s Machines inventions in Parc Cinquantenaire.

The concept was to show Leonardo Da Vinci’s universal spirit.

During this event, I am presenting Da Vinci’s 3 different machines and his mostly known drawings and architecture. 

  • The Ornitopthère : Da Vinci was studying a lot the birds. 

    The way they fly, how they migrates, their foods…

    He used to keep flying free birds at home.

    I chose to represent abords ballet. With the participation of the famous ornitopther. One of his machines he created inspired by the birds.

  • The Tank : Suspension of the « char » in multiple pieces. Showing the interiors of the tank and his creation.

    Very big structure -> lighten up with spots under, on top, or onto some parts.

    The whole structure is moving and people can get under it.

  • The Passerelle : Inviting the visitor to have a look on all over the whole show area. To see the  birds ballet, the dome and other animations from above.

  • Plus an architecture based on his drawings
